Photographer’s Note
Papel picado is a popular Mexican decorative art, using perforated paper in a variety of patterns. The designs can vary for the festival, everything from religious or national holidays to a birthday party or Day of the Dead (November 2).
This is a bunch of papel picado hanging from one of a wall to another. It reminds me of Mexico, warms my heart. Appropriately enough, the theme of this papel picado decoration is springtime!
You will find papel picado in many settings, from homes to public spaces.
Hope you enjoy!

Papel picado... I remember hearing this expression in Tijuana, a few years ago.
Nice and colorful minimal shot featuring lovely patterns. A cheerful prequel to springtime!
Hugs,
Fulvio.
