Another street portrait from my daytime excursion in Berkeley during the recent heat wave. This interesting-looking man was taking a break from cycling, and was combing his beard with a tiny brush (in hand) as I passed by. I asked to take his photo, and he consented. I love the look of this man, and I especially like how his eyes are semi-obscured by the reflection on his glasses. Thoughts?

A very powerful enviromental portrait...Composition and colors are great...But the best part is the guy himself...Very well done!

Very nice shot, Sam. I like how you framed the subject between the two bicycle wheels. I actually like the reflections in his glasses, as the whole background is one huge reflection as well. His facial expression is amazing and from the look of it the small brush appears to be, to me at least, a toothbrush. But I may be wrong. Nonetheless a wonderful shot.

Perfect street shot. The man's expression is great, and semi-obscured eyes works well here. I like every detail, up to the socks on the wheel! Background with some depth behind the reflections is also very good, and strong colors work very well with the overall grey. Nice notes you've wrote too. Very good one Sam!

Perfect. I agree with all above. One of my favourites...
