Dog, Bird, Man, Kite Photo

Photographer’s Note

On a windswept day, out by the bay, on a hilltop many kites crowded the sky. At this moment a dog seemed to lead a man while above a bird seemed to lead a kite in the sky. I snapped this with my mobile phone camera... hence the graininess, especially of the figure of the man. I kind of like it. Let me know what you think.

Fabulous shot, José.

I was a post-doc in theoretical physics at UCal a long time ago. But I don't recognize this hill. Wonderful photo, with a mysterious dark circle in the foreground. Is that the shadow of a cloud, or just a ridge in the hill?

Mobile phone camera, uh? Wow.
Fine picture, you keep wondering what's behind the hill... Lovely & lively kites, and man & dog are just perfect in that corner. Excellent capture the latter, to add great dynamics to this shot.

Hi Jose,
That's the thing about camera phones; you always have it with you so when you encounter a perfect shot, you can capture it. In addition to the composition, I'm amazed at the detail in the cloud. It appears that camera phones have really come a LONG way. I read in your profile note that you've been caring for your father, I've been helping out with my parents as well. It's hard to see them struggle with their losses. I read a note you posted on Francisco's site and that's how I found your site.

With a mobile phone? Can you give me the detail of the camera (how many mega pixels ?) Even I have many shots in my gallery which I have taken from my mobile camera.

With a mobile camera this is a fantastic shot. The scene is very beautiful. Good job my friend.
