Berkeley Rose Garden Photo

Photographer’s Note

I'm standing in the middle of the Berkeley Rose Garden, although you don't see any flowers in this shot. I focused my camera on a stand of trees on the western edge of the garden, which sits in the Berkeley Hills and offers a good view of the bay.

The garden opened in 1937 and was among the many public works projects sponsored by the U.S. federal government (in this case, the Civil Works Administration) to provide jobs during the Great Depression.

Una hermosa foto en mi opinion. Muy buen detalle y el color del sol contrasta hermosamente con el negro de los arboles. El color del cielo tambien contribuye mucho a la foto. Me gusto mucho esta foto.

Lovely silhoutte, details are see in the lush spread of branches and leaves. Amazing shot of the golden sun too!

As you know, I have been following your gallery almost from the very first moment, your pictures then were great, but nowadays, little by little they have something indescribable with words "charme", I am very impressed about the result here, for instance, the light, the ambience you have captured really attracts me!
The sun standing between the branches, it is an adorable detail!

Hola Jose,

Interesante contraluz, las siluetas de los árboles se dibujan a la perfección sobre ese cielo tan especial, la luz del Sol produce un punto diferente de color que destaca sobre el resto de la escena, es un momento y lugar que te ofrece muchas posibilidades, numerosas composiciones y diferentes perspectivas podría haberte dado también buenos resultados.

Buena instantanea llena de buenos colores, y los arboles en plan sombra le dan a la imagen una realidad impactante.
La imagen tiene una alta nitidez y un magnifico POV.

hola calimex, me gusta este contraluz con la puesta entre los arboles, tine un cielo con un tono muy bueno, parece un duotono, creo que si le pusieras un marco le darias mas realce a la imagen. lo merece.

Hola José, bonita toma de la puesta de sol, las siluetas a contraluz son fantásticas y el toque de color del sol contrasta muy bien con el tono monocromático del resto de la foto, felicidades.
