Photographer’s Note
After a long hiatus, I finally did a little bit of street photography around my neighborhood in Berkeley this past weekend.
I thought that these two high-school-aged kids were interesting, particularly in their posture. It's amazing to me how, in just a few years, people have become comfortable taking phone calls in the middle of busy public sidewalks, as if they were sitting at home.
This shot was taken digitally, and converted to B&W, with the contrast boosted a bit using curves in Photoshop. Frame is slightly cropped down to eliminate distracting elements.

This is a different angle on the ''Cellphone Revolution'' & it really works, thanks in large part to it being B&W and the way you've got the teens framed to the left with space to breathe on the right. The pattern on the wall also helps enhance your pic. Well spotted.

i think this really captures american youth today...with their style, posture, and general attitude.
