Photographer’s Note
Today (March 17) is St. Patrick’s Day. Here is a web with information about St. Patrick’s Day. I wish you all have a happy St. Patrick’s Day and have a nice weekend.
I post this photo because of the green and gold colors in this picture, the traditional colors for St. Patrick’s day.
This photo was taken on the side of a corn field in Bakersfield area in a pring day last year.

Hi Wes - I wouldn't have put St. Patrick's Day & Bakersfield into the same sentence! But what you give us here suits the 'green & gold' theme :)

Hi Wes - A very well choosen photo - due to the fresh green colours - I like the mix of lines and the poles which makes a line in the landscape - thanks for sharing.

Hi Wes,
nice green nature, yes, as in the Ireland in St. Patrick's Day. Good perspective and quality of photo. I like it.

Hej Wes,
Good work, I like the graphical power of the picture with the lines on the field as well as the electricity poles. Fine colours too. Well done!

Hi Wes
Happy St Patrick's Day to you too. Great perspective and graphism in this shot. And I agree it is appropriate for the day - I think I can almost make out 'forty shades of green' in your photo!

Hi Wes,
A strange and intriguing picture. All that straight lines make it very graphical but the trees on the horizon do disturb that idea. I think that’s why I think the picture is confusing.
Well done.

Hi Mr. Wes. When I saw you and Tan (capthaddock) had this idea I decided to steal it! ;) The greens are as green as anything you'll find in Ireland. I didn't know gold was one of their traditional colors. Happy St. Patrick's day!

Hi Wes,
Just perfect for the St Paddy's Day thing. Lovely photo, not just for the amazing green but the straight rows in the field, flanked by the straight rows of phone poles, the straight road and the neat division into thirds (Stripes, Green and blue. I think this is the first time I've seen the ugly phone lines incorporated as a useful part of of a photograph.
Regards, Pat

Has been long time we hadn't seen such colors in your gallery !! A typical view from America for me, with this huge space, the farmers...
Very graphic thanks to the main lines too !

Hi Wes,
This is a nice post and capture with the colors and vision of this moment that you present us but possible not a so sharing post by "Global social views".
Really this is simple picture and celebration that you did a great shot and resulting post with fine colors, perspective and sharpness. Graphism and linear view like the father but let the son go to also the SUN Creative father view.
Thanks very much and also your fine third eye composition and perspective. Best Regards and my TFS.
