Photographer’s Note
At the intersection of Gaskell and 195th in Antelope Valley was covered with beautiful poppies. I was told that we have more poppies this year.
I went there with my friends and my dog who seemed to enjoy the flowers. (TrekLens)
My cousin on the other hand was also busy attempting his first panorama. (TrekLens)
This is my panorama version.
Personally, I would prefer a greater DOF but unfortunately it was really windy. If I would have set my camera at f/22, it meant that my shutter speed had to go down too. This would have made the picture full of motion blur. I was considering a higher ISO but it was a shame not to use ISO100 at for full sun.

Hi Nap,
That's so much better. A real please to look at. I like the extra daisies (?) too. What a sight it must have been to see. Glrious colours and tight pespective. Thank you.

Nice shot Nap. Lovely colours.
Personnaly I would crop out some of the sky.
Also it would have been lovely with a wider aperture - this would have created a narrower depth of field and thrown your background out of focus. Ti would have pretty stunning with the lens you are using. You may of course not have wish to do this).
It certainly caught my eye in the thumbnail with its captivating colours
Cheers!

Great shot! I too would have cropped some of the sky, but I like the depth of field as it is. The colours are wonderful and I appreciate the perspective gained by the road posts. Well done, Nap.

Good job on a great DOF with everything pretty much staying in focus. The "sideview" of the poppies with the distant mountains makes for a great composition.

Bonjour Nap,
Daniel.
