Photographer’s Note
Travelling on the old Route 66 in Arizona, I stopped to photograph the sunset and was captivated by the glow of the back reflection of the sunset on the train and surrounding hills as well as the rising moon...and I was the only one for miles...total peacefulness broken only by the long moanful whistle of the traing crossing the arid desert.

Hello Alex,
Welcome to TE! I really like the mood of this photo, but for me the presentation lacks some "punch". I have tried a workshop, and I hope you like it. I don't have Photoshop; I am using a much simpler software. I am sure other photographers could make better adjustments, but I gave it a shot. :-)

Hi Alex,
Yes, very nice shot. I like the vastness of the landscape punctuated by the train and the low hill in the background. The light is beautiful, that's for sure.
Good post work too, I like what you've done to the foreground and the sky.
The moon sitting over the top of the train is a very nice touch.
Cheers
Peter
