The bones shown in this image are from a cow that had been washed down from a flash flood. 2 years from whence that happened this is whats left.

The location is in the wash just before the hike up to "The Wave"

This is such a striking image, even without the bones the shot would be really eye catching but with them it balances the photo really nicely. I love those rich red desert tones and the lines that lead away from the bones.

that made a little stereotyped "the death valley"...
this photo have a beautiful composition, the light and the colors are superb, very good choice of framing, really cheer for this photograph

Stunning red rocks too. The bones just jump from the photograph in front of that great color. Fantastic POV.
