Photographer’s Note
This is the Eighteenth of Twenty Four of my Grand Canyon Series.
This beautiful multi-level lookout point is at the back of Kolb Studio. Kolb Studio clings to the edge of Grand Canyon. It was the home and photographic studio of pioneers Emery and Ellsworth Kolb. Begun in 1904, the building has evolved through two major additions and countless minor changes during its century of existence at Grand Canyon. The evolution and survival of Kolb Studio is also the story of its builders, Emery and Ellsworth Kolb. This note was based on www.grandcanyon.org/kolb/
PP Work: Adjust levels control; Adjust saturation control; Sharpen; Remove noise; Crop; Frame; Reduce image size for posting. RAW format used for all Grand Canyon photos.
