The swift fox (Vulpes velox) is a small light orange-tan fox around the size of a domestic cat found in the western grasslands of North America, such as Montana, Colorado, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas. It also lives in Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Alberta in Canada, where it was previously extirpated. It is closely related to the kit fox and the two species are sometimes known as subspecies of Vulpes velox because hybrids of the two species occur naturally where their ranges overlap. Hope you had not caught this in your backyard, Eleu, still a wild animal...
Nice showing a specie we do not see in my country, much different this one.
Fine taken picture.

More and more often we see such wild animals as well in the big cities, they are looking for food in garbage cans, very good picture with great sharpness

Always interesting to watch wild animals in their habitat as is here, taken at a field
Informative note, they are similar at the ones in Argentina
Well done, regards

That subspecies is somewhat different from the common red fox we see in European forests, smaller in size and another coat, neat picture with natural hues, greetings
