The brown bear (Ursus arctos) is a large bear distributed across much of northern Eurasia and North America. Adult bears generally weigh between 100 and 635 kg (220 and 1,400 lb). Its largest subspecies, the Kodiak bear, rivals the polar bear as the largest member of the bear family and as the largest land-based predator. (From Wikipedia)

Eleu, it clearly looks like a baribal (Ursus americanus), so beautiful nature image, very neat, the bear doesn't see you were hidden to take its picture, bravo, all the best, regards

Superb use of a shallow dof with perfect sharpness on the brown bear. I like the repetition of the circles of confusion bottom right on account of the shallow dof. Natural looking muted colors and good shadow detail. Well composed with nice breathing space. Tfs!

Yes, we have got similar bears here in the Northern Eurasia. ;) Amazing capture of the animal in wild life. Did you use telephoto lens? I think he is not so friendly for meeting. Thanks!
