Photographer’s Note
Another view of the old Spanish Mission of San Xavier, just outside Tucson.
"This attraction is to Tucson what the Eiffel Tower is to Paris, except it's more ancient. Founded in 1700 by the Spanish missionary Father Kino, 10 miles south of what is now downtown Tucson on the Tohono O'odham Indian reservation, San Xavier del Bac is considered one of the finest examples of Mexican folk baroque architecture. Indian crafts shops and a cafe are nearby. The parish is still active, so please be respectful of religious activities when visiting."

Un ciel avec son bleu qui accompagne très bien les teintes en douceur de cette architecture.

Hello Chris,
A good composition of this lovely old mission in need of some renovation judging by the scaffolding. The delicate pink tones are well rendered and stand out to good effect against the sky. Excellent sharpness.

Hi Chris!
Very interesting and nice architecture, mexican-spanish in an american environment! Your picture is very good, with excellent sharpness, correct exposure, well chosen pov and vertical format, good composition though simple! I can see it's under restoration and that's important... maintaining memories!
TFS - Congratulations!
Best regards,

Hi Chris,
The presence of the people has an effect of scale. The fence and the cactus are framing well the Mission. The point of view is showing the details and colors of the structure of the Mission. THe intensity of the light is enhancing the colors of the imposing building. Have a nice day.

hi Chris
It is always interesting to see how the Spanish influence can be so strong in southern USA and how Spanish has become the 2nd most important language in that country. You have presented a well composed view of this missionary building with a good blue theme of the sky. Very interesting architecture style!

Bonjour Chris,
une photo bien réussi sur le plan technique, mais au niveau de l'art, avec ces échauffaudages et ces trvaux, ce n'est pas des meilleurs mais tu n'y peux rien.
Une photo très nette.
Best regards.

Chris,
Which such strong light out in Tucson, you managed a very good details shot, in this case a polarize filter may make it easier to manage the light. Regardless you did just fine here. Good details, good sharpness, composition is fine though I kind of wonder how it look on a horizontal format. Thanks

Salut Chris
The blue sky makes for a perfect BG on which this attractive church stands out well! It looks like the white of the edifice on the left side, has been freshly painted! The cactus add an exotic touch.

Namaste Chris
Typically Spanish architecture, with fine details before the towers. The right tower seems unfinished. The pink colour creates good contrast with the clear blue sky! Well done
