Photographer’s Note
Is the runner safe or out? This was taken at a recent Spring Training game between the Arizona Diamond Backs (in red) and the San Diego Padres, in Tucson, Arizona. Although the ball (which you can see in air to the right) does beat the runner home, the catcher didn't have the plate blocked. The tag was late and the runner was safe.
