Photographer’s Note
"The Saguaro, pronounced "sah-wah-roh", (Carnegiea gigantea) is a large, tree-sized cactus species in the monotypic genus Carnegiea. It is native to the Sonoran Desert in Arizona, the Mexican states of Sonora and Baja California, and an extremely small area of California. The saguaro blossom is the state flower of Arizona.
The common name of the cactus, saguaro, is a Spanish-language adaptation of a word used by a local aboriginal American nation, the Tohono O'odham, for the plant."

This is a cool picture. I really like the graphical aspect of it. Those cactus are huge and I do find interesting them being used to decorate an urban place. They look to be a few meters high and quite thick too. It is a very nice shot. Well done.

Hi Chris,
These under the blue sky rising cacti very spectacular. Several attractive details are visible yet on the photo: the palm trees, the sculptures and different plants. The colours and the lights are beautiful. The vertical composition is very attractive. Splendid shot. Have a nice day!

Hello Chris,
Good vertical graphical lines and interesting contrasts between the work of man and that of nature. The vertical frame is a good choice. Fine colours and sharpness.

Bonjour Chris
Il est superbe ce cactus mais je crois qu'il ne faut pas l'approcher de trop près.
Merci pour cette belle image et bonne journée.

Hi Chris,
The saguaros cactus are framing well the palm trees. The point of view leads our yes through the garden toward the building in the background which is giving depth to the photo. The strong light is well managed and brings out the colors. have a nic eday.

Hi Chris, Very impressive cacti. I am from rather cold country (Poland) so the view of free saguaros, so big, was a big attraction. Interesting also the statues here. I think I missed them. Pleasant photo, good colours.
warm regards

Bonjour Chris,
ca sent bien le sud ici, avec ces plantes des pays arides, typiques, vedettes des films westerns. Une photo sobre bien dépaysante.
Regards.
Daniel.

Hi Chris.
I like the contrast of the cactus with the building in the background. When we think in that "big" plats, we think in a desert.
But, as you show us, they are in several places.
Well done!

Hi Chris,
I think that very few birds have landed on this typical plant of American desert... Nice framing on this park that blends harmoniously vegetation and mineral environment. Beautiful image quality, I appreciate good luminosity, thank you Chris.
With all my friendships and a very good Sunday,
