The boats were about 100m from the finish line and the "1" boat had just overtaken the other two.
"Where the Far East meets the Wild West" is the slogan of the annual Asian Dragon Boat Races in Tempe Town Lake. This is the 4th year of the competition and there was a good turn-out.
