Photographer’s Note
Sedona is about two hours drive from my home. It seems whenever we have visitors, they want to go there and the Grand Canyon. I remember Sedona 25 or 30 years ago, as a quiet small village with some tourists in the summer time. Today it is a sprawling city with houses tucked into the red hills for miles around. Traffic is heavy and there is a constant effort to construct more hotels and resorts. Many people come from around the world to witness the beauty of the red rock.

Hello Roger, friend,
I saw your gallery but I stay here in Arizona in front this formidable rocks in warm colors. The conclusion in your note is dramatic. I prefere more and more the nature than the civilisation. But that is difficult to defend like opinion. Friendly your

Hello Roger,
your picture has very nice colors and a good POV.
The sharpness laggs a bit at some parts oft the photo.
I made a workshop for you so you can see what a bit more post processing can change,
Best regards,
kris

Hello Roger,
apart from the fact that also this picture is quite oversaturated (OK, to a certain extent it is a matter of taste) I do not find any reason for complaint. The majestic rock is beautiful, the composition appripriate. A nice photo!

Hi Roger,
You have used the low light to form a delightful composition of light and shadow.
When we used to drive down to Phoenix from Winslow when I was child, Oak Creek Canyon with its brightly flowing water was a MUCH bigger attraction to us than more of those old red rocks!!
