Photographer’s Note
this rock is easily recognized by its stately shape and unusual red color. the object of many visitors' pointed cameras, this rock becomes more than it appears @ first glance. it is one of the many red rock formations Sedona is famous for.

Hi Benedict,
On this case the frontal, simple pov works great. You managed to show very well that impressive work of architecture of Nature. The contrast of colours is part of its charm.
Is that sky natural? It doesn't look like it... Not that it looks too unreal, but the horizon isn't normally so sharp and it's rare to have all that homogeneity of colour.
Regards, José.

Hi Benedict,
The vibrant blue sky compliments the red clay of this imposing rock. I love how the trees struggle to gain purchase up the lovely red rock.

Ciao caro mio Bene :)
Yess, this one is a really beautfiul documentary and suits perfectly to the aim of this site. Colors and sharpness are first rate, and the layered compo (sky, rock, tress, ground) has a particular charm. Congrats,
St. Rigolo :P

Hello Benedict,
the shape and the color of this rock is so unusual but so impressive! It is really like a bell. The blue of the sky is also very attractive! Very well done. Thank you for sharing. Best wishes,

Hi Ben,
long time you don't post but I know you've been busy. I think this is the first time I see this one and I can tell you it's such a well executed landscape photography. Perfectly framed and excellent light management. The clean blue sky is definitely a good background. Well done!
Abraço,
Carlos
