Photographer’s Note

A photo of Sedona's amazing red rock formations. It was raining when we arrived in Sedona, and I thought I would miss the opportunity to shoot the beautiful sceneries. Fortunately, the sun came out in the afternoon, and I managed to shoot some landscapes with blue skies and much needed sunlight. Some of Sedona's residential and commercial structures can be seen at the foreground.

This is a beautiful landscape with very good colours, light and composition. I believe the rain helped a lot in cleaning the air to give such good clarity and colours. Well done.

I like the composition with the impressive landscape and the little town in front!
The warm afternoon sun does a lot of good the the image, that is well composed and with a good sense of depth...

The scenery is wonderful, shown in fine light. Good contrast here. All i miss is a better exposed point of reference somewhere in the forground. I also think that the purple cast of the sky is a bit unnatural. Overall, it is remerkable Work and i do like it.

Hi Alford. You know I've always wanted to do a trip out to Arizona and after seeing your pictures of Sedona it would have to be very high on my list. You've got some very good shades of red in the rock and I love how huge everything is. tfs Alford.
