Photographer’s Note
Also known as Red Rock Country, Sedona is a picturesque city located in Arizona's high desert and is surrounded by red-rock monoliths. It is at an elevation of about 4500 feet.
I took this late-afternoon shot with my first digital camera (Olympus) and would like to go back - with my newer Canon and hopefully a little more photo experience. :)

Beautiful colors in this landscape! However, the frame takes away from the image...I think it needs to be thinner/different color. Overall, a very good shot!

Hi namesake ;o)
Nice shot, but I have to agree with Daniel - the frame is way too prominent and distracts from the image. And it's too bad it's so small (I know, back then you just didn't get larger images). Wonderful perspective though, and beautiful light.
From the panorama, I take it this was shot from somewhere close to the airport? If yes, you picked one of the best late afternoon/sunset locations in the whole area. Hope you had a chance to stay for the sunset.
Thanks for sharing - this shot brings back a lot of wonderful memories.
Best wishes
Claudia

Hi Claudia
Well I must say I like this presentation. Yes the frame is quite prominent but it acts like a window pane. The light is good and the framing by the tree adds to what would have been a fairly mundane sky. Nicely done.

Re-Bonjour Claudia
Encore une photo bien jolie. Ces montagnes ont une couleur vraiment superbe.
