Photographer’s Note
Here is another shot of Oak Creek. This is a huge steel bridge spanning the gorge created by the creek in the background. This is probably seven miles from Slide Rock, and a very busy spot in summer when tourists clog the parking area contiguous to this bridge. Unfortunately there is no foot traffic permitted on the bridge and no walkway across the bridge, only the street for vehicles. It is an awesome place to be however.

Hallo Roger!
An unusual point of view - showing only half of the bridge - but creating a good depth (in double sense ;-) I like the many interesting details one can see in your picture. An impressive landscape!
Greetings from wet and cold Germany!

Hi Roger,
Don't imagine there are many bridges in Arizona but his one is indeed an impressive one transveresing this narrow creek with the brilliantly contrast green and rred sandstone cliffs.
Regards, Tom

Good morning, Roger.
This is a real cool shot, I specially appreciate the chosen angle, which is most comprehensive and provides the onlooker with a very detailed and deep view of Oak Creek Canyon. I hiked this trail some four months ago, all the way down to the creek and upstream to Grasshopper Point. Easy hike, but very pretty.
Merry Christmas and a Very Happy New Year to you and your family! And may 2009 bring us all tons of health, love, great travels and great pictures! Have a nice day, I'll be seeing you.
