Photographer's Note
I’m sure it’s a safe assumption that every photographer, at some point, has missed what was seemingly right in front of them for as long as they can remember. This was just that type of scenario for me. I had been adjacent to this vacant old house numerous times picking up supplies from a landscape nursery, not more than 50ft. (15m) away, but it wasn’t until driving home a couple of days ago that I actually noticed what it had to offer.
Ironically it was on the way back from taking my previous posted photo, one that I intentionally set out to achieve…go figure!? Dumb luck perhaps, but it caught my eye enough to pull over and snap a few shots.

Hello Jason ,
I agree with you , we have little treasures (in term of photographic subjects) close to our home , but may be we are more inspired when we are far from it .
Hre , this is a very good subject (i like this theme , too) with an effective framing , and an excellent exposure .

Hello Jason,
nice the view as the presentation of the side of the wooden house with the falling shadow to participate in this beautiful play of the light and the colours.
I like the clarity as the sharpness of the scene.

Hi Jason,
I like this detail. The textures are amazing and the perfect triangle of blue sky is a needed presence in your scene. Good work!

Your assumtion is accurate, Jason, I had posted once a pic. of a house already demolished, just when realized the wall painting on it was unique - and managed to do a quick job.
Happens to all. Nice taken the window corner, maybe a whole house pic. can show more - if possible.
Nice photojob done, situation well conveyed.

Hi Jason,
Dont you love that feeling when you spot something new to photograph, especially if its a place you often are but hav never noticed. Really like the textures of the wooden walls and frame, working beautifully with the sliver of sky. As always, a perfect composition.
All the best
Noel
