This is my nex photo from the TE-meeting in Arizona with Jason. If you see the latest post of Malgo has got "Long Shadows" title, well, I give a bit different name to this photo.
The touristic booklet said:
Located at 80 year old Saguaro Lake Guest Ranch, only 45 minutes from Phoenix in the Tonto National Forest, Saguaro lake Ranch Trail Rides offers some of the best Arizona trail riding in the state. Our trails will take you on Saguaro cactus studded ridges, across and along the Salt River, into dry arroyos, and up creosote covered hills that overlook Saguaro Lake.

This composition is a very good idea. I like the curved shadows which give a lot of depth to the picture.

The long shadows cast by the fence make great lead lines towards the craggy mountain and add a great touch of graphism to the shot. I like the contrasts in tone between the two halves of the image. The image is pleasantly lit and has very good colours and clarity.

A very good idea to frame this shadow !
The whole composition is excellent even if a bit more sharpness would have been great too.

J'aime beaucoup la construction de cette image et aussi l'utilisation des ombres de la clôture comme sujet principal. C'est bien vu et très bien fait.

Zdravo Serghei. A creative composition in which the natural and man made combine to good effect thanks to the play of light and shadow. The curves in the foreground and the vertical forms of the rock formation go well together.Pozdrav. Klaudio.

A splendid narrow picture in vertical version.
These shadows lead us nice along the wooden fence, to the wonderful mountain in background.
You chose a very well angle this cares for depth and perspective
You play excellent with light and shade.
Sharpness and clarity make these picture attractive.
Very well done, TFS.
Have a nice day,

You used the very clear and distinct shadows well to create an interesting foreground. The rocks and trees look great but the picture would have lost a lot without these curving lines covering the empty area closest to the camera. Of course you could have used a horizontal crop showing only the trees and rocks, but this is a lot more interesting. The colours are superb.

une superbe photo, les ombres du premier plan attirent le regard et créent des lignes géométriques très intéressantes.Bien vu!

it´s your second shot where you were able to utilize play of light&shades to create so strong, visual effect.I like how these shadows attract our attention and how they try to "distract"us from the beauty of the BG.Really enjoy this clash of the FG with the BG.Makes we enjoy and discover every fragment of the picture.
My best regards

Puno pozdrava dragi tovari Sergej!

Very interesting rock formations in the background but of course, this photo is all about the shadows. The parallel curving lines would not need the rocks behind, they are very good in themselves.

should start to call you shadow-man, as this is another fine example of how to get the most impact from them. A shot that has such tantalising lines and typical Arizona beauty about it. Complements your cowboy (jcpix) partner's shot superbly. Love it!
Enjoy your weekend - Brian.

Vue celle de Jason, voila un autre POV, j'aime la courbes des ombres sur le sol, la vue lumineuse sur les montagnes, une très belle présentation,

Hello again Serghei,
I like the composition of this photo. The curved shadows in the foreground are very nice, and then we see the lovely landscape in the distance. All of the separate details come together so nicely, and the vertical framing is also a good choice.

Hi Serghei !!
I bet that you are missing your good days in sunny Arizona...it is a very nice
The composition here is great and a good idea is to show so little of the fence... so the shadows tell the story.
I thinks that you new camera is working really well..... the photo is sharp and the colours are magnificent.

Nice landscape with these rocks in the Bg and original photogenic presentation with this excellent Fg and these shadows of the fence, well made.

Interesting curve of shades in foreground
Very nice rocks formations similar to the rocks of Ille sur Tète near Perpignan in France

I like the composition created by the curve lines of the shadow of the fence and the mountain in the background. Good pov and nice details. Well done, tfs.

Not so long shadows as mine :) but they give an interesting striped view of the road. Splendid composition with the vertical format, with good depth and nice colours. Creative photo. I read in the note a lot about Saguaro but I do not see any.
shevchenko (18725) 2013-10-27 19:57
Good vertical format to frame the unique geographical feature, clump and shading at foreground, good perspective effect, thanks for sharing a fascinating nature view at a sunny day.
photoray (6690) 2013-10-28 10:32
Thank you for the "mind's eye ride" into the Saguaro Lake Guest Ranch, contrasting the sandstone formations with the geometric shadows.

devo dire che mi sono perso un po' di belle foto, il tuo viaggio in America ha fruttato tante belle immagini, come questa, una bella composizione, ben fatta e ben presentata.
adores (30831) 2013-11-02 16:00
The shadows of the fence add a lot to the composition and lead our eyes to the trees and rocks in background. A very good composition and dof. I like the way you framed it!
ChrisJ (91290) 2013-11-08 15:28
Love the repetitive curved lead in lines formed by the fence's shadow. Good sharpness and smart choice of a vertical format. I had no idea such beauty was so close to Phoenix. Good warm cold color contrasts between the blue sky and the reddish yellow rocky crags on the skyline. Tfs!
