Photographer’s Note
While in Page, Arizona we visited the popular Horseshoe Bend overlook. I started taking shots of that perfect, well known image, many of which are on TE, but I discovered that my wide angle lens was not wide enough and just fell short of taking in the scene of the whole bend effectively. I did take a panorama and started to compose shots like this one with a portion of the bend in the frame and a strong foreground element for added perspective.

Hi Michael,
A famous location here on TE and i've put it in the theme that is dedicated to this beautiful place. You made your own view to it with high contrast and extreme deep saturated colors, something is very much like. The blue against the red is wonderful, excellent contrast.
Maybe the foreground is a bit over-sharpen on those rocks, but the rest of the image looks very good...

Horseshoe Bend? I know what you mean, Mike...
Nevertheless : excellent shot.
Great clarity, wonderful shades and colors, maybe a tad oversharpened in the foreground but I'll be the last one to be picky on that. For one thing : it happens to me too. Secondly : it's easier to see stuff in somebody else's pictures than in your own. Once again : great effort. I appreciate you sharing it.
Have a great day,
Fulvio.

Hi Michael,
this place is terribly photogenic! I like how you treated. The orange/yellow color of the rock mix up so nicely with the green down there! Beautifully done. You really succeeded finding an angle that shows how beautiful this place is.
congrats!
Marc
