Entrance to Lower Antelope Canyon Photo

Photographer’s Note

This is the entrance to Lower Antelope Canyon. In the upper left corner you can see the light coming in through the narrow opening. I showed this photo before, as a part of a photomontage, but not too many members understood my intentions. From the ground level the entrance looks like a narrow gap. The Navajo Indian guide leads tourists into the canyon because it is easy to miss it. It is a mystery place...

This is one of those places that is going to look good in any photo at all, and yours is no exception. Beautiful colours and amazing textures, I like the way the eye is led up those steps to the daylight at the top.

The rock formations are fabulous in colour, shapes and textures. If only those steps weren't there! They really detract from the beauty of your image, although I do understand that they tell the story of you get into the canyon.

Another excellent shot of this beautiful canyon. The colors are great and your POV is very good. As you said it is a mystery place.
Sorry about the critique from John (jstewart) but I think that the stairs add scale to this amazing place.
