Photographer’s Note

Antelope Canyon is a facinating place for abstract photography. Before I started work on this photo I wasn't sure what it reminded me of, but I was facinated by the curved sandstone on the right. Then as I looked closer to me it looked like the profile of a person huddled over wrapped around the shoulders by this "flowing blanket".

pas toujours facile dans ces lumières intérieures, de bien feire ressortir la beauté des courges et des couleurs, mais quand on y arrive, cela devient spactaculaire.
Un magnifique enchevêtrement, net et précis.
De l'excellent travail de cadrage aussi.

this is indeed a very good example for abstract photography. I like the colors and the shapes of this curved sandstone very much. And yes, I can see the person's big head (infront of the brighter part) looking over his left shoulder. Did you mean this one?

Hi Michael,
the colors of the canyon and the light through the gaps give fine results.
Good texture of the rocks, so soft, like fabrics. nice curve movement.

Really a lovely shot, and with minimal colors - basically gold, brown and black. The treatment of the light on the right fg is something special.

Hi Mike:

It's hard to get an original shot of Antelope Canyon, but this is one. Looks almost like cake batter being swirled around and around. :) Great composition and great light.
