Photographer’s Note
Antelope Canyon
I took this shot under difficult (winter) conditions.
During the 6 sec exposuretime I used a (moving) torchlight (British - torch == American - flashlight) to fill in parts that otherwise wood have been underexposed.
Using a flashlight as a fill does'nt work, you'll end up with unwanted hotspots .

Hi James,
Wonderful start. Welcome to TE. It is like an abstract painting (of nature) and you have done a fine job capturing the details, made good use of light. Colours are really crips and much detail can be seen. Thanks for sharing. Lookign forward to other posts. You could post it larger though.
Best,
Scyntilla

Hello James,
For a start in TE it is a strong photo. The composition in the diagonale is efficient but it is the exposure with still details in the shadows which is drawing this photo. An invitation to visit this place.
Reading the note, I understand this shot was not an easy one but it was successful.

This place is perfect for this kind of pictures. All tones of pink, orange and red mixed together in abstract compositions.
Regards Stefano

Hi James
The mood is wonderful here. Very... sensual. Something very feminine. The soft curves, the layers of colors are beautiful and the tilt shows a sens of graphism that promises a lot for the future of your contributions. That's a fantastic subject that you have chosen to make your entry on TE and it's a flamboyant realisation. Welcome!
Best regards
Marine
I add your picture in the theme that I created on Antelope Canyon

Hoi James,
Groeten,
John.
