Photographer’s Note

I wandered over to the "carnival" area of the Cinco de Mayo celebration in Mesa's Patriot's Park. I was hoping to get a racing shot of 4 boys going down the slide when this boy left early. He really took off at the bump just above him in the picture and really was out of control for the rest of the ride.

Hello Mark,
It looks like I will be the first person to critique your photo. You have a good shot here with a great expression from the kid. I feel that cropping out the background clutter on the left would have helped this photo. This is where I would have not used the PJ style of photography and would have cropped this a little closer. Maybe even converted this to a vertical shot. This is just my opinion. A good overall photo. Well done!
