hi meri,
not a bad composition there but i would have definitely preferred to avoid the harsh light of the sun which makes the photo much brighter than it should be.you can surely make some adjustments in the brightness and contrast to bring more clarity.i would have also liked to crop the right part of the photo to exclude the date(shown in the right bottom corner) and a cropping from the left part to give the writings a central view and place more emphasis on it.you could add some more notes regarding the photo to give the viewer more information about the photo and also to win more response.
