One of the many rocky outcrops that line the south rim of the Grand Canyon, in Arizona, USA. This one is just about accessible, but I did not climb onto this rocky platform to obtain a better photo opportunity, but some did!

Hello Brian ,
I never get tired of your amazing pictures from the Grand Canyon . This one is fantastic , too , without sky , but with gorgeous light and colors . Excellent inclusion of the rocks with its pine trees in the FG .

This is a pearl for look at, the different layers of the rocks make these picture attractive.
Also the foreground with the specially color of the rock.
We get a nice green tree above the rock, also a lovely composition, excellent presentation.
Very well done, TFS.

A well framed composition; but what strikes most are the contrasts in tone between the rocky pinnacle and the background. Very well lit with superb saturated colours. Excellent rendering of the textural detail.

I love the way that you allow us, in the top left corner, to peek past the dominant orange mid-ground to see the canyon fading into the distance. Well composed with a nice mix of colours.

Une nouvelle image, très spectaculaire, du Grand Canyon. La composition verticale est remarquable, les couleurs et la lumière superbes.

C'mon man, grow a pair...climb out there and go for the gold! Uhhh, yeah...smart choice NOT to make that leap of undaunting faith for the sake of a photo. Besides, you came away with a beauty just the same my good man! I wish I would have thought of this composition, I love how so much of the frame is filled with the red rock face (lol...sounds like something you'd have after a long night of partying.:))
The layers of color and depth are, as usual here with your shots, amazing. You know I'm an easy target with any GC picture, so keep 'em coming! Would it be too lame for this picture to say "Rock On?!!" ;) Have a good one mate. Take it easy.
Cheers from Feenix,

the beauty and majesty of this place never fails to astonish me. This time you are showing it in cropped version and the tighter framing helps to concentrate on the structure of the rocks as well as their stunning colors. You achieved in here amazing depth and I love the layers of the landscape which could be seen behind the main mountain. Nice use of the small rocky platform as a foreground to diversify the composition.
Well done! TFS
