The TE-meetings tradition is one of the most important social mission of this site. Are you agree with me?
In WS you can see my next TE-meeting in the US with Jason. It was just fantastic trip, full of humorous and amazing situations.
The South Rim is the most famous part of the Grand Canyon, and I think the busiest part of this Natural park.

What a place are you showing here, quite huge and plenty of interesting rocks formations with with amazing colors
The almost blue at the far end must be due at distance
Great the meeting with Jason, a person plenty of humor

Hello my friend,
You know, considering our location atop the canyon here, we could have gone with a double meaning and called this a "G2 Summit!" :) Too bad our president's can't get along as well as us...it would be much more enjoyable for everyone, don't you think? :)
What a view, the vivid memory is still etched at the forefront of my mind, and I'm sure glad we were able to get in before the park closed. A rich display of color and detail, you definitely put that new camera to good use. Much like I mentioned to Brian, I know I'm but one person, but I'd be happy to see all of your GC pictures here on TE. Just looking at this makes me feel as if I'm still standing along the rim taking it all in!
By the way, who's the goofy looking guy in the WS picture, on the left...the one wearing the orange/white shirt...what a clown! Hope you had as much fun as I did, and I couldn't agree more with your note...you've embraced the social mission of TE, and I am thankful that it landed you in Arizona!
The overall content might not be a perfect fit, but some of it applies... I think you know the band quite well :), and hopefully it sums up this portion of your vacation:
Exchange the cold days for the sun
A good time and fun
Let me take you far away
You'd like a holiday
Long live rock n' roll!
My best wishes from the sun drenched desert,

I do agree, it is such a great thing that this site can join people together from such far corners of the globe. I have only had one meeting since I joined, but it was a elapses sure, and I hope for many more! I love your shot here, it is a very mystical setting as we view off into the distance over these jagged peaks, and more so that they have a slight mist about them. I always thought of the desert of being dead and devoid f color, but this is just the opposite, a beautiful palette to view here.
All the best

The colors in this shot are interesting. I think the canyon is so large and deep that different sections have a completely different hue to them. I like the section in the foreground, and the depth here is also very nice. It's good to see the WS photo of you and Jason. I hope all is well on your side of the world. :-)

Awesome capture of the Grand Canyon! I like the sharp details of those canyons. Good lighting and wonderful colors. Very well done, tfs.
A friend told me about the candors in the Grand Canyon south rim, so I'm making another trip there and then to Sedona, Arizona, next month.

a fine composition of layers and colours, an artistic approach to this amazing natural scenery. You've managed to create a minimalistic composition for such a tremendous theme:) I like how the description of the formations and the distances is rendered through colours and shadows. Your vision seems to be based on depth and contrasts and the graphical effect you've achieved is very appealing. I'm glad you reached another dream destination and love the smiles in the workshop picture. Congratulations and thank you!
All the best, have a good night,

Creative layering view of the Grandest Canyon with sharp resolution revealing its textures, and multiple colored hues.
PS: I think we should have a TE meeting next spring at Las Vegas then do the week long raft trip down the length of the Canyon? The raft company buses you to Lee's Ferry, and upon return from the edge of Lake Mead back to Las Vegas.
