The wonderful shapes and colours of nature as seen at the south rim of the awesome Grand Canyon in the state of Arizona, USA. Tilted boulders and huge stacks of rock like cathedrals - carved and shaped over centuries by water.

this is such a fine shot, you have captured the gorgeous colours and details of the rock formations beautifully, the upright format works really well with tilted boulder atop the near stack adding even more drama to a stunning photograph.
A breathtaking view,love it.
All the best for the week end,

I get vertigo just looking at this image Brian. A hell of a POV takes away terra firma from under our feet! Incredible colours and sharpness. The strong light in the foreground and dark skies accentuate the drama of this place. Regards. Klaudio.

hello Brian, another great one from nature. The erosion caused by wind made here a nice art of nature... Like your composition with sharp details of the rock on foreground. Nice blurred background helped it a lot. Superb tonal quality and perfect light. As a composition, Wonderful... Tfs.

the nature is so stunning and beautiful, that it actually do not need any words.I could just sit there and admire this spectacular view for hours.
Few words about the composition itself-I like your POV and the fact you included the part of this rock formation in the FG.It makes superb contrast to the rest of the Canyon and besides it´s so sharp and clear, that we can admire its texture very good.
Have a nice day

fantastique double plan de roche et ce découpage à gauche avec la vue en fond et ces couleur presque rouge c'est mervielleux.
Bravo et maitié

What can I say? Impressive!
Thoughtfully selected POV gives the viewer an idea how huge the canyon is.
Have a great weekend

Been there done that bought the tshirt. And it was soooo worth seeing too. Good warm cold color contrasts between the red and blue with excellent sharpness and a superb vertical frame that suits the subject perfectly. Took me a while to spot the tilted boulder at the top. I was looking at the middle and bottom. Tfs!

The depth of field is just perfect: I can almost feel the vertigo while looking at your picture! Moreover, the colors are, as usual, very nice.

Excellent shot with the vertical perspective of the entire canyon. Very sharp and great colors. Many shots of the grand canyon are good, but unimpressive. This one is very well done and makes me want to visit!

Ciao e buon fine settimana

Impressive photo with 3D effect. The forms and colors of rocks in the Grand Canyon are fantastic, compliments

I can hardly believe the sense of depth that has been achieved in your shot1 If I suffered from vertigo, I would have to look away! Your inclusion of the rocky, sculptured stack, to the left, anchors the f/g, thus giving depth to the more shadowy valley beyond.
A real knee-wobbling experience!
My warm regards,

Encore une somptueuse image de ce magnifique endroit. Superbe composition verticale avec un bel effet 3D et de splendides couleurs.

The Grand Canyon is magic to experience, but difficult to capture in a frame. This is a really good one, though!

Wonderful picture of this place, captured with excellent light and colors, and the foreground helps giving a very good depth to the image! Perfectly composed! Excellent job!

Stunning view in depth onto the river at the lowest of the trough, in the Grand-Canyo, Brian.
The variable colors, mostly red/brown rocks are a magnificent sight, changing by the hou.
Great photo, bring back memories from 7/1978.

I know this place. Good crop. Excellent presentation of the Grand Canyon! We were here with Jason a few hours ago.
I can image your emotions at that moment.
Greetings from Phoenix!
