Wonderful picture for a wonderful place, the colors are bright and the cloudy sky give the dimension of this hudge canyon.

Hello Brian, your imaginative composition, with the use of the FG rocks and trees to give the shot lots of depth and interest, has resulted in the most spectacular of views making an equally spectacular photograph.
With gorgeous colours and pin sharp detail it`s a stunning shot.
All the best Les.

A fine capture of this magnificent and awe-inspiring landscape. The stormy sky sits well over the contoured valley. The image has immense depth and benefits from very good colours and clarity.

What's more, otherwise superb.
One begins to regret the small image size and compression not possible to assess their fair values fine details and colors.

Exquisite detail in this shot Brian and you have presented a wonderfully moody feel here. The sky is a strong feature with the storms in the distance and the contrasting brightly lit clouds. Top class in every way. Warm regards Rosemary

Ciao e buona serata

I must say, you've done justice to the Grand Canyon with these photo's, another beauty here! The colors coming out of this are amazing...wish it looked this good flying over at 30,000ft/9km. :) Not only are the colors of the canyon itself impressive, it's the rendering in the sky that really sets the tone here...we could sure use some of those storms about now!? You've been able to convey the vast grandeur of this place, the depth and detail are superb! Thanks for sharing another view, hope to see more.
All the best,
Enjoy that heat wave of 25C, I'll gladly trade places if it's too much! :) Take care.

One advice: printed out and framed it in.

Although this was taken two years ago, sometimes I just wonder exactly how many pictures you took during that visit to Arizona! But I shall never tire of looking at them - each and every one is a true stunner!
Again, the characterful sky is a perfect topping for this beautiful image of the Grand Canyon which you have composed perfectly. The light is sublime, bringing out all the wonderful details from the nearest foreground to as far as the eye can see.
Gorgeous light and colours, perfect composition and exposure and exquisite details and sharpness.
