Hello Brian - Well detailed shot with all the layers of rocks beautifully distinct and well defined. The array of colours in them is excellent. I like the touch of greenery in the FG, it adds immediacy and depth. Beautiful shot of a superb natural wonder. Warm regards rosemary

Hello Brian,
Been there, done that. An impressive shot of the Grand Canyon in northern Arizona, with good warm cold color contrasts between the red & blue. I might have boosted contrast a little to compensate for the haze. The fg greenery is a nice addition at right. Tfs!

Brian,
I now that this landscape itself is amazing, so the choice of location already works in your favour :-) but I have to say as well that the whole scene shows very high quality skills. The colors and the light are beautifully balanced. Perfect sharpness. Great composition with some greenery in the foreground to create a little bit contrast and depth.
I like it a lot.

A place I've never been, Brian (both the Grand Canyon itself and Arizona more generally). I've been on either side, in California and New Mexico, but never here. This is a beautiful rendition of the Canyon from a great vantage point, sowing the amazing width and breadth of the place, as far as the eye can see - really an amazing testament to the power of nature. The clarity of the rocks and shrubs in FG - and then the fade into the mist as it moves back into BG - adds to the enormity, with great clarity throughout. Beautiful - Thanks!

Hi Brian,
Wow, stunning shot! I'm embarrassed to admit this, but I've lived in Arizona and Utah pretty much my entire life and I've never been to the Grand Canyon. I driven around the outskirts and flown over more times than I can count, but have never actually seen this wonder of the world at ground level. Seeing this amazing picture makes me want to jump in the car and head up there right now! This composition really shows the vast expanse, deep canyons and many years of erosion with layers of color and texture that would put anyone in awe. So very well managed and presented, compliments on one of the best Grand Canyon shots I've seen!
Have a terrific week.
Cheers,
Jason

Hello Brian
The grand canyon never stops to impress me. This is a great overview over the canyon with a superb deepness. The green vegetation in the foreground add a good focus point for the eye, from where one can explore the canyon to the best.
have a good day

Hello Brian,
One more perfect picture! Congratulations.
The colors are very nice, and the trees in the foreground bring some dark colors to the picture.
