Photographer's Note

Carved by the Colorado River snaking through northern Arizona, the Grand Canyon National Park's mile-deep, 277-mile-long chasm reveals nature's sheer force with its towering buttes, pinnacles and mesas.

It is truly spectacular. But my trip itself was more enjoyable than my photos. The moist air covers the Canyon more common in summer months. Most my pictures were full of haze, only few acceptable.

Hello Tiffany,
This picture certainly is much more than just acceptable.
It shows the impressive landscape very well with the winding river in the distance. The craggy rock masses on the foreground are a nice introduction to the better known amazing canyon scenery further away.

Great view of that canyon and I like the semi desertic vegetation with dead trees

Hi Tiffany,
You are presenting a great view to famous Grand Canyon (if I'm not wrong from South Rim). The foreground is in nice light bat the BG a bit hazy (very typical for this area during summer months). Nicely done.

Very beautiful shot of this one-of-a-kind landscape. I like its very sharp and clear foreground and its background disappearing into a blue haze. Glimpse of a thin blue ribbon of the Colorado river gives us the perspective of distance and depth here.

Very nice capture of the wonder of nature! Trying to imagine where this was--facing east? I like the lighting and good use of the shadows to create depth. Sharp details and wonderful colors. Well done, tfs.
