My second post from trip to Western USA National Parks is from the road to Grand Canyon North Rim.
Grand Canyon North Rim is much less visited than its southern counterpart, mainly due to its remoteness.
Longer distance that we had to travel to North Rim was fully paid-off. The nature, meadows and forests on the way to North Rim were magnificient and the view to Grand Canyon at sunset left us speechless.
Sometimes the road seemed to be endless and its end was dissapearing on the horizont.

The deep depth of field is integral in following the road through the image in all details. The great light on the meadow along the road and the marvelous sky also lends a lovely contrast to the scene.I like it!

Hello, a marvelous travel photo of a very remote place on one of Americas' scenic byways. Good DOF and a moody dark sky helps provide a sense of mystery to the scene.

Hello Zuzana - This is such a dramatic shot, it has lots of punch in the colours and atmosphere. I love the brilliant white and yellow road markings, they pull the viewer right into the frame and along the road. Very nice indeed. Warm regards rosemary

Nice perspective given by the road lines, the green meadows and forest and a superb cloudy sky, inviting us to the large country discovery.

A tremendously moody, atmospheric photo, with the road well placed emerging from the lower left corner. The lines make a strong highlight and accentuate the perspective. A great sense of the vast open space is well conveyed. Good note, too.

I'm glad you're back posting: been missing you! The depth of field here is necessary and well achieved with your small aperture and wide lens. The sense of drama comes mainly from the steep perspective and the cloud formation brooding over the scene. It certainly looks lonely!

Hello Zuzana ,
Wow !What a sky ! You have perfectly used the large road , to enter in this wild west american scenery .
So diferent from the Grand Canyon itself .

Great perspective shot. Beautiful how the road disapears in the distance, giving a real feeling of space and wastness to the scene. The dramatic sky is just the cherry on the cake. Love it.
Greetings from Switzerland

Traveling in the U.S. require long distance driving, sometimes you see no people or houses for hours. This image a great representation of that. I love the wide open land with sweeping view, the cloudy and stormy sky adds so much to the drama.
Excellent colors, light and everything is beautiful and naturall. I love the long long road and I love road trip.
