Unlike the south rim of the Grand Canyon which is administered by National Park Services, the west rim is located on Hualapai Indian Reservation. The Hualapai - "Poeple of Tall Pines" currently inhabit the 1,000,000 acres reserve established in 1883. In 1988 they have opened the reserve to tourism.
In comparison to most often visited south rim, west rim is much closer to Las Vegas, the area is much smaller and the fees to get into the park are much higher ($40 per person for basic entry fee), however the views are just as spectacular yet a bit different.

Excellent vertical shot, nice point of view. Very well balanced with the right amount of foreground. The light is fantastic and well captured. TFS

It's been a while, man...
As fine a landscape as it is (and it's a real corker), I would have never guessed it for one of yours. Lovely layered shot along the vertical.
How are ya anyways...?

Thanks for the note, too.
