Yes, very likely a zillion shots of grand canyon before this one !
But how to resist before such a marvel that nature offers us, ever changing from one hour to another or from one place to another, hardly distant by 100m!?
Today, like rather often during summer, the theatre of a thunderstorm as violent as spectacular.
* Scan of a slide dating from 2000. Sorry for the noise !

what a lucky man you are :)
I have difficulties to catch just one rainbow, but you have two in a single photo :) Great timing and impressive photo. Congratulations.

the scenery is wonderful by itself but I must admit the rainbow makes this unique and different than the other photos. The cloudy sky is also another great bonus. Very well done!

for a scanned photo the quality is excellent, I don't mind the slightly visible grain in the sky. perfect timing to capture this magnificient sight, I particularly like the play of light and shadows on the canyon walls, it adds a great sense of depth and distance. great shot, my compliments.

difficult but such a fantastic light!
This is the best place to have for a background when photographing a rainbow.
I envy the shot. However I plan to be there in about two three weeks, so who knows...
I have tried a noise filter on your shot, you can check the result in the workshop.
Thanks for sharing,
that is a fantastic catch.
