Photographer’s Note

In a few days I am going to Italy to meet my dear TE friends in Venice. I am looking forward to it!!
I hope I will make there some photos.
Before I start showing beautiful Italian landscapes, palaces, churches (and Italians :)), I would like to show a short series of unusual places or views.

So, what is it on the photo? These natural contour lines are visible on the bottom of Grand Canyon. In the left upper corner you can see brown waters of Colorado River, quite narrow here. White lines are of course small tributaries.

Photo made during an air trip over Canyon, almost no PP, only some contrast. Natural colors.

Tu nous proposes un très joli cliché. La nature fait bien les choses. Les formes et les couleurs sont remarquables.

Hi Malgorzata. Well spotted and captured. Excellent patterns, like the rings of a tree stump only coloured and wonderful colours they are too. Nice work and thanks for sharing.

Dato che stai per venire in italia è meglio che faccia pratica di italiano... veramente una vista inusuale, molto bella e spettacolare. Sembrano le venature di un minerale. Con colori così la composizione si giustifica da sé.

Rzeczywiscie niezwykly widok. Dobry POV mialas aby tak spogladac w dol. Fantastyczny wzorek i paleta barw. Tylko pozazdroscic wyprawy w takie miejsce.

In some part it seems to look at a kind of wood mushroom, other than this the aerial view is wonderful, compliments Malgorzata.

Patrz±c na miniaturke my¶la³em, ¿e to jakie¶ wymy¶lne wzory na pniu jakiego¶ drzewa (skojarzy³o mi sie ze star± wierzb±) albo prze³om jakiej¶ ska³y. Nawet teraz gdy patrzê na zdjêcie na pe³nym ekranie nie mogê uwierzyæ, ¿e to krajobraz widziany z lotu ptaka. ¦wiat jest naprawdê piêkny, a ta fotografia pozwala mi tê wiarê umacniaæ.

Hello Malgorzata,
An amazing view and a very interesting picture. Without your assisting note it would have been difficult to figure out what this is. The colours and shapes are truly marvellous. Strangely enought this reminds me a lot of a picture I took at Petra in Jordan, but that was a close-up of the wall of a rock. This is more like a painted masterpiece from a modern artist than a photo... Really hard to see what is up or what is down here and it is quite impossible to find this area on GoogleEarth...

Zdjecie powinnas naprawde dobrze zagospodarowac, bo takie efekty graficzne sie sprzedaja. Tekstura jak i kolory sa naprawde nieprawdopodobne. jestem naprawde pod wrazeniem!

questa vista aerea è strabiliante, dalla miniatura non si riesce a capire bene di cosa si tratti, ma aprendola esplode in tutta la sua bellezza.
L'effetto grafico e cromatico che ne viene fuori è assolutamente magnifico, bravissima.

un effetto molto bello creato dalle striature del terreno e dai differenti colori, il pov dall'alto aiuta nel vedere nel suo insieme questo straordinario spettacolo della natura.

Olá Malgorzata, nice to see you to. I love aerial views and this one is amazing in colors and textures. I saw similar landscapes in the Andes of northern argentina but I think it wasn't so impressive.
