The Supermarine Spitfire is a British single-seat fighter aircraft that was used by the Royal Air Force and many other Allied countries throughout the Second World War. The Spitfire continued to be used as a front line fighter and in secondary roles into the 1950s. It was produced in greater numbers than any other British aircraft and was the only British fighter in continuous production throughout the war. (From Wikipedia)

Fine up close in action view of one of my favorite WWII airplanes, including the 4 blade propeller.
During the War, my Mother and her 2 Sisters dated RAF pilots being trained by our Army in Ponca City, Oklahoma.
Have an excellent weekend,

C'est une belle réussite tenant compte de la difficulté de la prise, on voit les moindres détails et couleurs, la tête du pilote, cet avion semble immortaliser dans l'air!!!

but not as beautiful as my favorite P-51 Mustang!!
now thats a fighter plane!!!!
the placement of the cockpit is a located a bit further back in the Spitfire. Or you could also say the wings are placed further ahead closr to the nose. Much different than the Mustang, where the cockpit is located mid-wing. here the pilot almost looks like a backseat driver! haha
The Spitfire is clearly a longer, sleeker, slimmer design. The Mustang is shorter, looking like a muscle-car. Again, i much prefer the Mustang.
cool photo once again, i really enjoy all of these fighter plane photos.
you do well in photographing them
