Photographer’s Note
My sister called just after lunch that day and said she had spotted some snow on the Superstition Mountains when the clouds cleared, briefly. Late in the afternoon the sky partially cleared and, as it was near sunset, I thought I would try to get some pictures of the snow on the mountain. So I drove to a point where I thought I would get a good view and picture ... and found about 20 cars full of photographers with the same idea.
Saturation and contrast were increased slightly. The image was sharpened. While the colors seem strong, they really are like that as the sun sets.

A beautiful sight, both visually and photographically speaking. I like the pov and the crop. The shadows of the clouds look great. I don't like the colors too much, but they add to the realistic side of the image. Good work!

Hello Mark,
This is a real good landscape photo with a great dramatic feel to it. I love the brooding stormclouds and the fabulous colors. Don't let the low TE response dictate the "worthiness" of your photo. It is fabulous!
