our kayaking guide approaching an ice cave to investigate if it's safe enough to enter. with the steep overhang and melting ice bridge, it was a bit scary! the magnitide of these icebergs and ice caves is indescribable. I recommend kayaking to get close to them, very fun!

Kayaking in these places should be really an experience. Maybe you could have improved a bit the composition(a bit too much water in my opinion) but this is a detail, because the picture is really interesting

Hi Jennifer, It's been a long time.
This is a good capture that the dark part make us imagine strongly a scary feel. It seems you have a potential for making the foreground a little dark to emphasize a impression. The kayaking guide seems considering both nikon and canon photographers. Nice wide composition!

Hello Jennifer,

Your serie of photos about kayak in Alaska is very nice and interesting.
From the ones already posted, it is this one I prefer. The presence of the yellow kayak is giving both the scale and a color contrast against the grey clouds and the blue icebergs. Thanks to bring us with you in this travel.
