Photographer’s Note
This is a photo of the train that goes from Whittier to Fairbanks in Alaska. This photo was probably not taken in Whittier, but rather somewhere along the way. I was in the train when I took the photo, and the train is going into the tunnel I think.
It is normal that it looks blurry in some places, because at the time, there were big forest fires, and there was very thick smoke in the air. I have done my best to fix the problem by adjusting the levels a bit. Also, I did not have a tripod, so I may have moved a bit. However, I do not want to change it too much from the originial. Also, I feel that the smoke's presence in the photo, as little or as important as it may be, is important. Forest fires do not happen everywhere. In Canada and Norhtern United States, it happens often when the summer is dry.
I used Photoshop to crop and adjust the levels, but not too much. I also added a white frame.
Feel free to use workshop, and if you know of a way to completly eliminate the smoke and blur's effect wihtout changing the photo itself too much, please let me know.

Bonsoir Louis ,
Cordialement ,

Hello Louis,
I like the composition of this photo. It shows the rugged landscape, and it is interesting to see the detail on the train cars. Nice capture.

Hi Louis,
Well framed shot. The landscape is really rough. And design of cars is nice. I don't think this needs any more PP.

Bonjour Louis,
Amicalement, Brigitte

Informative picture Louis. I just got back from Alaska and posted a picture from this place with detailed narration about the tunnel.
