Photographer’s Note
Hadn't planned to go to Valdez. Something about the Exxon Valdez oil spill made it feel to me like it was hopelessly damaged but locals & fellow trvalers alike said it was not to be missed. Just over Thompson Pass, the Chugach Mountains are impressive.

Hi Patricia,
Thanks for your visit to my Portfolio and your favorite post choice and sorry for my delay in sharing. Lovely and simple picture from this beautiful snow mountain pattern scenery, with a excelent perspective and angle approach. Nice blue and withe colors, good light and fine sharpness. Also a excelent enquadrement and a nature atmosphere composition so well seen and done. Congratulations and have a nice week.

Hello!
Very interesting shape of the mountain tops. I see two faces on central-right part of the photo.

Hi Patricia,
Another great capture. I love snow and mountains and this is a wonderful landscape. I love the lighting, the cumulus have cast some wonderful shadows over the peaks. Very sharp image. Lovely scene. Well done and TFS.

Hi Patricia,
This view is unbelievable, breath-taking.
I like the form of crown that the mountains create here and different tones of blue and white that give an impression of cold.
I love the panorama.

Hi Patricia. Yes those mountains look so rugged yet beautiful. Too bad you don't have some sort of reference for scale to show how huge they are. But the bright snow was brilliantly handled. Great shot Patricia!

Another amazing shot. The colors are crisp and the scene is amazingly sharp. I can't wait to get to Alaska.

Very well done. I would clean the excessive amount of cyan and increase the contrast a little though. Thanks for sharing..

Dramatic scenery!! I like the viewpoint capturing the scarves of snow and rugged peaks. Great color and clarity.

Hi Patricia
Impresionante y solitario paisaje.
Muy buena foto, tiene buen contraste de luz y sombras, y un cielo azul hermoso.
Te escribo en español para que puedas practicar.

Thse mountains are really impressive, Patricia, I like all that white, but mainly the shapes of the mountain and the white clouds on the blue sky...

Hi,
I'd say the same as in my critique about your "Where's my Kayak?".
In this one here I like very much the contrast between the blurred clouds and the sharp mountains.

Pat I'm glad you made it to this place and took this picture. The rugged nature of the mountains give the scenery a very wild look. Beautiful place that I hope will stay wild and unpoluted for ages to come. I still hope to go to Alaska someday and see the stuff this place has to offer.
