| The is the Exit Glacier, located in Kenai Fjords National Park, just outside of Seward. You can hike on a trail right up to the side of the glacier. This is a close up of the side of the glacier, which was about 60 feet high. This section represents only a small section, perhaps 30'. You can see the ends of the deep crevaces that run through the glacier. The dark grey is bits of debris the glacier picked up as it moves very slowely. |
