Photographer's Note

American Bald Eagles are commonly seen in mated pairs along the Inside Passage of SE Alaska where they build massive nests along the shoreline. They add to their nests each year, until they weigh as much as a ton. Now the birds are nesting, and both birds divide parenting responsibilities by fishing from the top of tall trees.
