Ice skims the lake after the first snow. Ward Lake is a popular recreational destination of folks who live in Ketchikan. The trumpeter swans have returned again this year.

Wonderful natural spot!
I love those reflections on the water mirror-like surface!
Management of difficult light, colors, horizontal format, level of sharpness, blue borders, chosen pov and composition truly pleased me!
TFS - congrats,

Fine view of the mountain and its Ward Lake mirrored image, through the foliage framing, and all in natural lighting and coloring.
And, do the swans remain in the Winter?
Have a fine Autumn,

A quite beautiful scene enhanced by the light and the clear reflections. I love how you have used the natural vegetation to frame the shot and add to its sense of perspective.
Have you noticed how the sky colouring is always deeper in its reflection?
Have a lovely day,
