Photographer’s Note
After a great guided walk through the rainforest overlooking Mendenhall Glacier, I snapped this shot from near the Visitor Centre before returning via bus to our cruise ship berthed in downtown Juneau. The waterfall visible to the right of the glacier face is pretty impressive - over 300' high by my reckoning. There is a walkway from the general viewing area (see people to the lower left) up to the falls - unfortunately, I didn't have the time to check it out.
Cropped and resized from a RAW image (see also the 'Large Version').

Hi Jeff,
Very nice panorama! The large cersion is excellent because of the many details it show. I like the wide view of this natural setting. With your love for mountains I wonder why you don't live closer to them :-) Thanks Jeff.

Hi Jeff,
Another brilliant shot from your trip. The panorama is wonderful, especially in the large version. I had no idea how big this was until I noticed the people standing on the walkway, it is huge.
Great stuff.

Very impressive large version :)
Always nice to have a good panorama, especially from a refreshing glacier! Good colors too, even the visitors cramping up the walkway do end up giving a sense of the huge scale of it all.
