Photographer’s Note
In August I paddled a section of Alaska's Inside Passage off Admiralty Island. We had all our gear in our kayaks and camped in the wilderness. We'd get an early start in the mornings and have these beautiful glassy conditions where the water was cobalt colored and there was zero wind. We saw bears, seals and eagles...I'll post some of these later. One thing about taking photos in a kayak: it's more difficult than it looks! Kayaks are tipsy if you're not careful. Grabbing your camera and taking it out of the drybag while sitting in the little kayak cockpit takes some practice.

The sea is beautiful. Clear water. Beautiful, sharp photo. I am a little bit envious. Camping is good. Congratulate to your good work.POV.

It is what we call a glassy sea!
Of what make of magnificent reflexions in this beautiful mirror or are reflected clouds and brilliant colors!

TEd, it's so crisp and clear! I can breathe the fresh air (despite the climate air here...). I can't believe the cloud's reflection on the right, it's amazing!
The yellow really pop out and does a good job bringing a touch of color. I like the choice you made of letting some space behind the kayak to keep those waves in the frame
Have a nice one,
Marc

Hi Ted,
You share my passion for Kayaking. You certainly are a lucky devil to be able to get out in this prestine wilderness. The yellow kayak is wonderfully complimented by the still blue water. The reflection of the happy paddler and the wispy clouds is stunning. Beautifully clear colors, fine details and excellent sharpness to this lovely image. I know what you mean about the difficulty of taking pictures while paddling you did an outstanding job.
