Photographer’s Note
Black Diamond Golf Course is located next to Otto Lake; wild Iris were blooming by the lake. The mountains of Denali National Park tower in the background. Actually we went here to eat at the Black Diamond Cafe, not being golfers.
For most golfers, this is a great opportunity to see what the original courses in Scotland were like. This course was built in 1995, right on top of the Alaskan tundra with little-to-no top soil. The rugged grass is challenging to say the least. Hazards include moose-hoof prints, tundra marsh, and a local fox that steals your ball off the second green. Source

I don't play golf myself, but this looks a really amazing place to do it. It must be one of the best views from a golf course anywhere in the world.
I like how you composed this, and the inclusion of the flowers in the foreground gives a good impression of depth to the image.
Well done.
Cheers,
Ben

I do not play golf but the scenery would make me, at least, to try it. I like very much this landscape picture which has a great POV and beautiful colours. Well done.

Hello Patricia,
Beautiful shades of green!
I like your framing here, with the good diagonal slopes, foreground interest with the triangle with blue flowers is interesting...
A lovely landscape well depicted!

Beautiful view; it doesn't look like the US somehow, more European. I love the way you composed the shot with the little triangle of green with the startling purple of the irises. I also like all the different layers and levels with lots of diagonals. The grad did a good job to keep the detail in the sky.

Hi Patricia,
Very beautiful palette of greens. It could be pleasant to play golf in this country. Unfortunately I do not play golf and Alaska is very far.
Anyway, this shot is well done.

I love how you show ALL of the scenery, instead of cropping this photo to focus on the golf course in the distance.

Hi Pat,
Very nice accent from the green hills to the rocky snow capped peaks. The wild flowers and the way you framed this one works very well.
Regards, Tom
